** Celebrity Chef aboard Silversea (page 5 of Cruise News):
Silversea has announced celebrity TV chef Noel McMeel will be bringing his popular cookery school at Dublin’s Castle Leslie to Silver Shadow. Resident chef at Castle Leslie - host to Sir Paul McCartney’s wedding to Heather Mills, and a recent competitor on BBC 2’s Great British Menu programme – Noel will be brought into the ship’s galley on board Silver Shadow departing September 3, 2007 on a nine day voyage from Hamburg to London. Cruise guests will learn about and taste traditional Irish cooking.
Fly-cruise fares start from £2,505 per person in a Vista Suite.

The Banyan Tree Spa has arrived aboard the only floating residence in the world. Bringing its Sanctuary of the Senses to the seas, the new Spa facility introduced on The World allows both residents and guests to experience the award-winning menu of spa treatments. Featuring four single treatment rooms and a Beauty Garden, the staff use natural herbs, spices and aromatic oils in their range of exotic treatments which are inspired by Asian traditions.

For 2007 Mundy Cruising has become a sponsor of Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, located on London’s South Bank. Founded by the pioneering American actor/director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare’s Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare’s work. Together, the Globe Theatre Company, Shakespeare’s Globe Exhibition and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance. In addition to the £30 million already raised, an additional £15 million is needed to complete the development programme.
