Mundy Cruising Rewards Key Team Members

Three key staff members at luxury travel specialist Mundy Cruising plc have been promoted to the position of Associate Director 

Three key staff members at luxury travel specialist Mundy Cruising plc have been promoted to the position of Associate Director in recognition of their substantial contribution to the business, with effect from the beginning of 2009.



They are:

Sophie Higgins, Sales and Marketing Director, The Cruise Portfolio

Sophie joined the company in May 2004 to head up the Company's GSA division, which represents such luxury cruise lines as Crystal Cruises, Windstar Cruises and Ponant Cruises. Responsible for a team of nine, Sophie's rigorous attention to detail has helped to grow the business significantly since 2004.



Jamie Loizou, Sales and Marketing Director, Mundy Cruising

Jamie joined the Company in March 2004 as Product Manager, a role he has truly made his own over the past five years with a sharp focus on e-marketing, and a keen nose forface-to-face marketing and product development opportunities, such as the Mundy Carte Blanche portfolio of services. In his new role he also takes responsibility for Mundy's retail telephone sales team.



Caroline Jenkins, Head of Accounts, Mundy Cruising plc

Caroline joined the company way back in October 1995 as a junior accounts clerk. Her dedicated hard work and devotion to the company is matched by her tight control of the company's finances, and her new role in difficult times is a true reflection of her commitment and abilities.



The company directors Matthew and Edwina Lonsdale said: ' We are proud to recognise these three key players who have made, and will continue to make, a significant contribution to our business success. We know we have exactly the right team in place to take us through the tough months ahead, ensuring we retain our proudly-won reputation as the luxury cruise specialist in the UK.'

Mundy Cruising reports encouraging sales for January 2009, with revenues 14% ahead of the same period last year.
